Local Government

 

The Village of Necedah is governed by a Village Board and operates with a Village Administrator form of government. The Village Administrator is hired by the Board of Trustees to serve as the administrative head of the government of the village and is responsible for the efficient administration of the public works department.

Necedah has a full-time Public Works Department, Police Department, and contracts with the Necedah Fire and Rescue (fire) and Comp Douglas Rescue Inc (ambulance).
